LA TERRA DEL DUCA

from Montefeltro to Della Rovere

The Terra del Duca is a virtual reproposal of the area that formed the ancient Dukedom of Urbino for centuries: a territory located in the northern and central Marches region (the provinces of Pesaro-Urbino and Ancona) with ramifications into Umbria (the province of Perugia).

It was comprised of an "Old State" (Urbino, Gubbio, San Leo, Urbania, Cagli and Fossombrone) and a "New State" (Senigallia, Mondavio and Pesaro), covering the splendid area that runs from the Apennines to the Adriatic coast, across the gently rolling hills, dotted with important towns filled with many works of art.
