Traditional events

In all of their capital cities, the Dukes built a Palace to house the court during regular State visits as well as to act as a permanent display of their power. The fact that the various architects (Luciano Laurana, Francesco di Giorgio Martini, and Girolamo Genga) used local materials, merely served to enhance their creativity, leading to the creation of beautiful, richly suggestive residences.
